Shrimp And Kraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (10 oz.) cans shredded kraut
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. sliced olives
    1 c. chopped pepper
    1 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. onion
    2 c. cooked shrimp
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Drain the kraut well.
    Boil the sugar and vinegar for 5 minutes and cool slightly.
    Pour over kraut.
    Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well.
    Chill for several hours.
