Green Rice Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. margarine
    4 c. sliced green onion
    1 c. fresh parsley, snipped
    1/4 c. snipped fresh chives
    2 cloves minced garlic
    3 c. cooked rice
    3 c. cubed cooked chicken breast
    1 c. almonds, lightly toasted
Preparation
    Melt margarine in large skillet.
    Saute onions, parsley and garlic until just tender-crisp.
    Remove from heat and toss in rice and chicken cubes.
    Season as desired.
    Pack into buttered 9 x 12-inch Pyrex casserole.
    Garnish with almond slices and bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 35 to 40 minutes.
    Serves 12.
    Tossed fruit salad and rolls make this an enjoyable meal.
