Lutheran Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sliced water chestnuts
5 c. instant rice
3 c. diced celery
4 c. diced ham or chicken
1 tsp. salt
3 c. mayonnaise
2 cans cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
3 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 medium onion, chopped
Preparation

Mix all ingredients together.
Pour in 10 x 15-inch pan. Crush 1 double bag of potato chips and pat over the top of casserole.
Bake 30 minutes in 450\u00b0 oven or until bubbly.
Best if assembled the day before and baked on the day to be used.
Serves 25.
