White Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. warm water
    1 packet yeast
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 Tbsp. salt
    6 c. flour
Preparation
    Mix first 4 ingredients.
    Let stand 10 minutes.
    Add flour and beat well.
    Place in large greased bowl and cover with towel.
    Let rise in warm place until double in bulk.
    Turn out on floured board and knead.
    Place back in bowl and let rise again, about 1/2 hour.
    Punch down and shape into loaves.
    Place in greased pans and bake at 375\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
