Ingredients

1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sifted self-rising flour
1 c. (6 oz. pkg.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Combine Crisco and sugar; blend in egg and vanilla.
Add combined dry ingredients and mix well.
Stir in chocolate pieces and nuts.
Drop from a teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
