Pork Chops, Southern Style - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 pork chops (center cut)
    1 green pepper, sliced
    4 potatoes, sliced
    4 carrots, sliced
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
    1 Tbsp. instant minced onion
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    1 c. tomato juice
Preparation
    Brown pork chops on both sides in their own fat.
    Cover with sliced vegetables.
    Mix the next 5 ingredients and sprinkle over vegetables.
    Add tomato juice.
    Cover and bake 1 hour in a preheated 350\u00b0 oven.
