Apple Prune Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 golden delicious apples, peeled and diced
1/4 c. water
1 1/2 c. cooked prunes, seeded and chopped
1/4 c. prune juice from cooked prunes
3 Tbsp. orange juice
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 packet Equal
Preparation

Cook apples with the water until tender. Add rest of ingredients (except Equal) and cook until heated through. Remove from heat and cool. Add the Equal and stir. Refrigerate in covered jar. Will keep 2-3 weeks in refrigerator. Good served with ham and beef.
