Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cooked, mashed squash
    1 medium onion, minced
    1 c. cream of chicken soup
    3/4 c. grated carrots
    1 c. scalded milk (almost to a boil)
    1/2 c. melted margarine
    1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. croutons, divided in half
Preparation
    Combine
    all
    ingredients (except 1/2 of the croutons). Spoon into
    lightly
    greased 3-quart casserole dish. Top with the remaining croutons.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
