Peter Pan Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. solid shortening
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. peanut butter
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1 c. brown sugar (firm)
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1 Tbsp. milk
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Combine shortening, salt and peanut butter; mix well.
    Add granulated sugar; mix.
    Add brown sugar and mix slowly until creamy.
    Add beaten eggs and milk and mix well.
    Sift flour and baking soda, then add to mixture, blending well.
    Drop from teaspoon onto greased baking sheets.
    Flatten each cookie with fork.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
