Egg Custard Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pie shells
    8 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    6 c. scalded milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Combine eggs, salt and sugar in large bowl.
    Add milk and vanilla.
    Add nutmeg.
    Pour into pie shells.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Reduce temperature to 325\u00b0.
    Bake 30 to 40 minutes longer.
