Surprise Chili - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 tsp. oil
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 1/2 c. chopped onions
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
1 (15 oz.) can sauerkraut, drained
1 (15 oz.) can pinto beans
1 (14 1/2 oz.) can low sodium beef broth
3 to 4 Tbsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Heat oil in 3-quart saucepan.
Brown meat, onions and garlic. Drain off fat.
Stir in remaining ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low.
Simmer partially covered for 25 to 30 minutes.
