Japanese Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. softened butter
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. all purpose flour and 2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 c. chopped raisins
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar, add eggs one at a time, beating after each one. Add milk and flour alternately to creamed mixture, then add vanilla. Grease and flour 3 eight inch cake pans. Pour 1/3 of batter in one pan. Stir spices, raisins, nuts into remaining batter and pour into other 2 pans. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25-30 minutes.
