Pumpkin Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 tsp. butter
    1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin or 2 c. cooked, mashed pumpkin
    3 c. milk
    2 tsp. instant chicken bouillon granules
    1/8 tsp. ground allspice
    croutons
Preparation
    In a saucepan, melt butter or margarine. Stir in pumpkin. Stir in milk, chicken bouillon granules, allspice and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Bring mixture to boil, stirring constantly.
    Pour soup into individual soup bowls.
    Top each serving with the croutons. Makes 4 servings.
