Chicken Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    pastry for 2-crust pie
    1 large chicken
    1 1/2 qt. water
    2 tsp. salt
    1 small onion
    1 carrot
    1 bunch celery
    3 1/2 c. chicken broth (made by cooking chicken)
    1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. onion salt
    1/2 tsp. celery salt
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    Place chicken in large pot.
    Add water, 1 teaspoon salt, onion, carrot and celery.
    Simmer, covered, until tender, 2 to 3 hours. Remove chicken.
    Strain and reserve broth.
    Strip chicken from bones.
    Combine flour, onion salt, celery salt, pepper and remaining 1 teaspoon salt with 1/2 cup of the chicken broth.
    Mix until smooth.
    Put 3 cups broth in a skillet.
    Heat and add flour mixture, using wire whisk.
    Cook over medium heat until thickened. Add chicken; blend well.
    Pour into pie crust.
    Top with pie crust. Cut vents and seal edges.
    Bake for 45 minutes at 400\u00b0.
    Serves 6 to 8.
