Never Fail Meringue - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. cold water
    1/2 c. boiling water
    6 Tbsp. sugar
    3 egg whites
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Blend cornstarch and cold water in saucepan.
    Add boiling water and cook, stirring until clear and thick.
    Set aside and let it get cold.
    Beat egg whites at high speed until foamy.
    Gradually add sugar and beat until stiff but not dry.
    Turn mixer to low speed; add vanilla; gradually add cold starch mixture.
    Turn mixer to high speed again, beating well.
    Spread on pie.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 about 10 minutes.
