Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. white corn meal mix
3 Tbsp. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
pinch of soda
1/2 c. chopped onions
2 or 3 jalapeno peppers
1 egg
2/3 c. buttermilk

Preparation

Mix all ingredients together; set aside to rise. Before cooking, mix well again. Drop by teaspoon into hot oil and brown.
