Escalloped Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. cabbage, coarsely shredded
    2 qt. boiling water
    1/4 c. salt
    1/4 c. sugar
    5 Tbsp. oleo or butter
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. milk
    1 c. buttered cracker crumbs
Preparation
    Cook cabbage in boiling water seasoned with salt and sugar for 4 minutes.
    Drain very well and place in buttered 2-quart flat casserole.
    Make a cream sauce with butter (oleo), flour and milk. Pour over the cabbage.
    Sprinkle buttered cracker crumbs on top. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Serves 4 to 6.
