Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine or butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 3/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix butter or margarine, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
    Sift together dry ingredients.
    Mix butter and dry mixtures together. Chill dough.
    Roll into 1-inch balls.
    Roll top of ball into colored sprinkles and remainder of balls into 1/2 and 1/2 cinnamon and sugar mixture.
    Place sprinkle side up 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
    Remove from pan and cool on wire rack.
