Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) pie shell
    1 1/2 qt. strawberries
    1 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Wash and hull strawberries.
    Crush enough to make 1 cup. Combine sugar and cornstarch.
    Stir in water and berries.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring until mixture comes to a boil.
    Reduce heat to low and cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
    (The mixture should be thickened.)
