Molasses Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. molasses
    1 egg
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients together in bowl.\tAdd shortening, molasses
    and egg; mix well.
    Make dough into round balls; dip in sugar.
    Bake
    in a 375\u00b0 oven for 10 to 12 minutes.\tCookies will flatten out as they bake.
