Ingredients

2 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. sugar
6 oz. chocolate chips
1 c. pecans or other nuts
Preparation

Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
Beat egg whites and vanilla until frothy. Add sugar, 1 teaspoon at a time.
Beat until stiff.
Fold in nuts and chips.
Drop by teaspoon on foil-lined cookie sheets.
Put in oven, turn off heat.
Do not open oven door for 8 hours.
May leave in oven overnight.
