Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
    1/3 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    3/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In saucepan, melt unsweetened chocolate with shortening.
    Pour chocolate into mixing bowl.
    Beat in sugar, eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour, baking powder, salt and nuts.
    Spread in greased 8-inch square pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Cool slightly.
    Cut into squares.
