English Toffee(Candy) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 sq. semi-sweet chocolate
    1 c. broken pecans
Preparation
    Combine butter, sugar, water and salt in a heavy saucepan. Cook, stirring constantly, to 300\u00b0.
    Watch carefully! Immediately pour into ungreased 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Cool until hard.
    Melt chocolate over hot water.
    Spread on toffee; sprinkle with nuts and press them down into chocolate.
    Let set 2 to 3 hours; break into bite size pieces.
