Turtle Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels
1/3 c. evaporated milk
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 stick butter
1 c. nuts
1 German chocolate cake mix
Preparation

Melt together in double boiler everything, except the cake mix.
While this is melting, mix the cake mix according to package directions.
Pour half the batter into a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake for 20 minutes.
Remove from oven and pour the melted caramel mixture over the cake.
Then pour and spread rest of cake batter on top.
Return to oven and bake 20 minutes more.
