My Chile - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) can pork and beans
    1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans
    1 lb. ground turkey
    3 Tbsp. cumin
    3 Tbsp. chili powder
    garlic powder
    ketchup
    beer
Preparation
    Using a large pot, brown the meat.
    Add all spices, except garlic powder.
    Stir.
    After simmering for 1 to 2 minutes, generously sprinkle meat-spice mixture with ketchup and garlic powder.
    Stir and continue to simmer.
    Add the 2 cans of beans and mix well.
    Bring to a boil.
    Continue at simmer for 2 hours.
    Do not skimp on simmering.
    This mixes the flavors.
    For moisture, use beer during cooking as needed.
    Serve with shredded Cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese.
