Southern Fried Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 c. milk
2 eggs
2 (3 1/2 lb.) chickens, cut into pieces
1/2 c. peanut oil
Preparation

Combine flour, salt, pepper, milk and eggs; mix well.
Dip chicken pieces in batter; set aside.
Pour oil into frying pan; heat to 350\u00b0.
Gently place chicken, skin side down, in skillet. Turn pieces of chicken over when beginning to brown.
When all pieces are lightly browned, reduce heat and cover.
Cook for 25 to 30 minutes.
Uncover and cook 10 to 15 minutes more or until large pieces are easily pierced with fork.
Drain chicken on paper towels.
