Lemon Loaf - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 oz. butter or margarine
2 c. sugar
3 c. flour
1 c. milk
grated rind of 2 lemons
1/2 c. sugar, dissolved in juice of 2 lemons
4 eggs
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream together butter and sugar; add eggs, one at a time. Beat well.
Add lemon rind.
Sift together dry ingredients.
Add alternately with milk.
Pour into 3 medium loaf pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 45 to 60 minutes.
Turn from pans to cake rack covered with wax paper.
Drizzle the sugar and juice over the loaves.
Cool.
Double wrap to freeze.
Cream cheese spread on slices is delicious.
