Deli-Style Cole Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium head cabbage, thinly sliced or shredded
2 to 3 carrots, sliced in food processor or grated
1 c. mayonnaise
4 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. salt
fresh ground pepper to taste
Preparation

Prepare cabbage and carrots.
Mix together in a large stock pot.
(It will reduce in size after dressing is added.)
Mix mayonnaise, sugar, lemon juice and salt together in a small bowl. Toss dressing with cabbage mixture until well coated.
Add pepper to taste.
Let set about 15 minutes until wilted.
Makes about 2 quarts.
