Fruity Cream Cheese Sandwich Filling - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 Tbsp. milk
    2 tsp. lemon juice
    1/2 c. dates, chopped
    1 c. apple, finely chopped
Preparation
    Soften cream cheese; add milk and lemon juice.
    Beat until smooth.
    Stir in fruit and spread on breads.
    For teas or special occasions, alternate layers of wheat and white bread until there are three pieces of bread with filling between.
    Chill in refrigerator for about 30 minutes, then cut with decorative cutters.
    To keep sandwiches fresh, cover with slightly damp white paper towel, then with plastic wrap.
