Cheese Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 lb.) bag frozen hash brown potatoes
    1 (16 oz.) carton sour cream
    2 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
    1 medium onion, chopped (optional)
    garlic salt to taste
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 c. corn flakes
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Partially thaw potatoes.
    Mix all ingredients together and pour into 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Top with corn flakes and bake additional 5 minutes.
