Pfeffernuesse - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    1 egg
    1/4 c. molasses
    2 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/4 tsp. salt
    powdered sugar
Preparation
    Mix ingredients; cool at least 2 hours.
    Roll into balls the size of walnuts.
    Dip in powdered sugar.
    Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 375\u00b0.
