Austrian Sauerkraut - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium onion, chopped
1 Tbsp. bacon grease
1 (16 oz.) can sauerkraut, chopped or shredded
4 Tbsp. brown sugar
Preparation
-
Brown onion very well in grease; add sauerkraut and brown sugar.
Simmer, covered, about 20 to 25 minutes until almost dry. Especially good with sausage.
