Peanut Butter Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. peanut butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 c. self-rising flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream shortening and peanut butter.
    Gradually add sugar, beating at medium speed of electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
    Stir in flour, blending well.
    Stir in vanilla, morsels and pecans.
    Spoon batter into greased 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Cool; cut into squares.
