Curried Tuna Salad In Pita Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. plain low-fat yogurt
1/4 c. light mayonnaise
1 1/2 tsp. hot curry powder
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. chutney
1 (6 1/2 oz.) can water packed tuna, drained and broken up finely
1/4 c. cashews or peanuts, finely chopped
2 pita breads, cut in half crosswise
shredded iceberg lettuce and tomato slices (garnishes)
Preparation

Stir together the yogurt, mayonnaise, curry powder, lemon juice and chutney.
Add the tuna and mix well.
Stir in the nuts.
Fill the pitas with the tuna salad; tuck the lettuce and tomato into the pita pocket and serve.
Makes four servings.
