Chocolate Sparkles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. softened margarine
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 oz. (2 sq.) melted chocolate
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 2/3 c. flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Beat shortening and sugar until creamy. Add eggs, cooled chocolate and vanilla.
    Mix in other ingredients and blend well. Chill dough. Shape stiff dough into balls about 1-inch in diameter.
    Roll the balls in 1/4 cup sugar and place about 2-inches apart on an ungreased baking sheet.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes. Cool on paper.
    Store covered.
    Yields 4 to 5 dozen.
