Many Layers Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce, torn
    1 (10 oz.) bag peas (frozen)
    2 medium tomatoes, chopped
    1 can sliced water chestnuts, chopped
    1 (16 oz.) jar Hellmann's mayonnaise
    3 c. Colby cheese, shredded
    1 1/2 lb. bacon, crispy and crumbled
    Parmesan cheese, grated
Preparation
    In 9 x 13-inch pan, tear lettuce and cover bottom of pan. Pour peas evenly over lettuce.
    Spread chopped tomatoes evenly. Spread chopped water chestnuts evenly.
    Spread mayonnaise evenly over vegetables.
    Spread shredded Colby evenly over mayonnaise. Sprinkle bacon over Colby.
    Shake a light layer of Parmesan over bacon.
    Great side dish!
