Corn Fritters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. corn, fresh or canned
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 egg, beaten
    1 tsp. melted fat
    1/2 c. milk
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Chop corn.
    Add salt, pepper, beaten egg, melted fat, milk, flour and baking powder.
    Mix together lightly and drop by spoonfuls into deep fat (360\u00b0 to 370\u00b0).
    Fry 2 to 3 minutes or until brown.
    Drain on brown paper.
