Ron'S Yeast Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    unbleached bread flour
    3/4 c. Crisco shortening
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    3 tsp. butter
    2 c. water (warm)
Preparation
    Melt shortening (do not get too hot).
    Put 2 cups of warm water in a large bowl.
    Add sugar, salt and shortening.
    Stir to mix.
    Add yeast and mix well until yeast dissolves.
    Use a wooden spoon and add flour until mixture is elastic and pulls away from sides of bowl.
    Cover and let rise in warm, dry place until doubled.
    (Microwave works well.) Turn out on floured board and knead 2 to 3 minutes, working out air bubbles.
    Divide into 3 equal parts.
    Melt a teaspoon of butter in loaf pans (3).
    Turn dough in pans to coat with butter.
    Let rise again until doubled. Bake 20 minutes at 375\u00b0.
    Makes 3 loaves.
