Ingredients

1 grapefruit, halved
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
splash of orange juice
pat of butter per grapefruit half
fresh strawberries, blueberries
Preparation

Halve grapefruit and loosen sections by running knife between each section and membrane on each side.
Place each side on broiler pan and top with brown sugar, spices and pat of butter. Follow with splash of orange juice. Place under broiler for 15 to 20 minutes or until tops of fruit are lightly browned.
Garnish centers with fresh berries.
Serve as a tropical first course for a meal or a new twist on breakfast.
