Pineapple Skillet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. cake flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 whole eggs or whites of 3 beaten eggs (stiff)
    1/2 c. sweet milk
Preparation
    Melt 1 tablespoon butter in skillet; remove from stove.
    Put in 1 cup brown sugar; spread evenly.
    Then place sliced pineapple on this sugar; fill center of rings with nuts.
    Pour cake batter over pineapple and bake in moderate oven for about 30 minutes.
