Ingredients

1/2 c. uncooked regular rice
1/2 c. sugar
5 c. milk
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
cinnamon, nutmeg or raisins - if desired
Preparation

Grease a 2 quart casserole. In casserole combine rice, sugar and milk. Dot with margarine or butter. Bake at 300 degrees for 2 to 2 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally, until rice is tender and pudding is creamy. Cool. Sprinkle with cinnamon, nutmeg or raisins, if desired. This pudding is good served warm, but will set up and thicken as it cools.
