Bass' Peppermint Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans condensed milk
    6 eggs
    dash of salt
    g.s. milk
    10 to 15 sticks peppermint candy
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 to 3 bottles red food color (optional)
Preparation
    Blend peppermint sticks and milk; liquefy.
    Blend eggs, salt and milk.
    Add to freezer can and stir together.
    Add milk, vanilla and food color to within 1 1/2-inches of top.
    Freeze as per freezer instructions.
    Makes 1 gallon.
