Heavenly Hot Fudge Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. oleo
    4 sq. unsweetened chocolate
    3 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Melt oleo and chocolate over very low heat. Stir in sugar, about 3/4 cup at a time. Be sure to blend well.
    Mixture will become very thick and dry. Add salt and stir in milk gradually. Continue to cook 7 to 8 minutes to blend and dissolve sugar. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Serve hot or cold over ice cream. Refrigerate.
