Ingredients

1/2 c. milk
2 eggs
1/2 c. flour
1/4 to 1/2 stick butter, melted
Preparation

Mix milk, flour and eggs together.
Melt butter in pie plate in oven.
When melted, remove plate and immediately add mixture. Sprinkle nutmeg on top and place in oven.
Edges will rise.
It is cooked when rising stops and cake is golden brown (not golden crisp), about 10 minutes or so.
Serve with syrup or powdered sugar or jams.
