Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    16 oz. Marie Calendar's cornbread mix
    1 egg
    1 c. milk
    1 can creamed corn
    1 c. cottage cheese
    1/4 ??? jalapeno peppers, finely chopped
    8 slices thick Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Mix first 5 ingredients together.
    Pour 1/2 the batter into greased 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan.
    Place 8 thick slices of cheese evenly over the batter and top with jalapeno peppers.
    Pour remaining batter over the filling.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
