Sheila'S Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sugar
    6 c. water
    1 (46 oz.) can pineapple juice
    5 oranges, juiced
    2 lemons
    5 ripe bananas, mashed
    1 bottle ginger ale (cold)
Preparation
    Combine sugar and water; heat to boiling and boil 3 minutes. Add remaining ingredients, except ginger ale.
    Put mixture into 2 rinsed 1/2-gallon milk cartons and freeze.
    Remove and let thaw some.
    Put in serving bowl and pour ginger ale over.
    Should be slushy when served.
    Makes 50 servings.
