Greek Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. soup bone with meat or 2 Tbsp. butter
2 qt. cold water
2 tsp. salt
3 carrots, chopped
4 celery stalks with leaves, chopped
2 onions, chopped
2 potatoes, cubed
2 fresh tomatoes
1 bay leaf
1 Tbsp. flour
Preparation

Make broth by boiling bones, water and salt for 1 hour.
Skim off frothy scum which floats to top.
Strain broth and return to clean pot.
If using butter to flavor broth, eliminate these first steps.
Add all vegetables and boil 1 hour.
Dilute flour in 1/2 cup cold water and add to broth to thicken.
