Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1 lb. white raisins
    1 lb. candied fruit
    1 c. candies cherries
    1 box dates
    4 c. chopped pecans
    2 c. applesauce
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. butter or margarine
    3 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Sift flour over fruit and nuts.
    Set aside.
    Put soda in applesauce.
    Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs.
    Then add fruit, nuts and applesauce and mix well.
    Pour into greased tube pan that bottom has been lined with brown paper.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 3 hours.
