Oven Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. stew meat
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 large onions
    6 carrots
    3 medium potatoes, quartered
    1 large can tomatoes
    2 Tbsp. Argo cornstarch
    1 to 2 Tbsp. sugar
    3/4 c. diced celery
    1 c. water
    1 bell pepper
    1 slice bread
    1 can diced Ro-Tel tomatoes
    garlic and garlic powder as desired
Preparation
    Break bread into small pieces.
    Stir everything, mixing well, into a large iron pot.
    (I use a cast iron Dutch oven.)
    Cover and put on middle rack in oven at 325\u00b0 for 3 to 3 1/2 hours.
