Chicago Crunchy Chocolate Chip Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    3 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. milk
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. vegetable oil
    1 c. corn flakes
    1 c. quick oats
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chips
Preparation
    Sift flour, baking soda and salt onto wax paper.
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Beat butter, margarine, brown and regular sugars, egg, milk and vanilla in bowl until well blended.
    Stir in flour mixture alternately with oil until mixture is thoroughly mixed. Stir in corn flakes, oats and chocolate chips.
    Drop by heaping teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheets, 2 inches apart.
    Bake in a preheated moderate oven (350\u00b0) for 12 minutes or until golden brown.
    Cool on racks.
